the seeds i’ve sown, they scream at me.
an introspective piece made from a place of huge vulnerability. i wanted a naive feel to reflect the base emotions fuelling the work.
i walk past your place each day and it shouts what could have been.

something beautiful out of the dark.
this painting emerged from the processing of loss. planting bulbs and sowing seeds in our physical garden so they return each spring as something beautiful and joyous. ghost flowers and bright blooms.
process was important for this piece. messy charcoal marks went down first and still peek through like windows.
This piece will be available through auction as part of The Sub Rooms Little Art Exhibition fundraiser. Please visit thesubrooms.co.uk for more information.
